MANHATTAN, NYC- A 64-year-old woman who was beaten and raped has died while in an induced coma, after succumbing to her injuries.
The NYPD says that victim died on Friday, May 27th . A week after being attacked and raped by 38-year-old Frankie Harris from Brooklyn.
Harris’ charges have been upgraded to murder since the vicitm died.
He was previously charged with attempted murder, rape, sex abuse and strangulation.
Harris attacked the victim as she was waking alone. The brutal attack was caught on near-by surveillance video.
