7-Year-Old Girl Shot And Killed While Riding in Car With Mother

NEW ORLEANS- A 7-year-old girl was shot and killed over the holiday weekend while riding in a car with her mother and sibling, police say.

Dillian Burton was shot in her back around 8:45 p.m. Sunday as her mother was driving along an intersection.

Dillian was taken to a hospital where she died, according to WVUE-TV.

Thankfully, the mother and the victim’s sister weren’t harmed.

Police have made no arrests.
