9 Children Injured, Including 5-Year-Old Boy In Gas Station Shooting

GEORGIA- Nine teenagers were injured in a shooting at a gas station, including a 5-year-old boy.

The shooting happened on Friday around 10 p.m. at a Shell station, police said.

Columbus Police Chief Freddie Blackmon said on Saturday that a fight from a near-by party spilled over to the gas station. The 5-year-old boy who was wounded at the gas station was with a family member.

Police identified the other eight victims as a 12-year-old boy, a 13-year-old boy, two 13-year-old girls, a 14-year-old boy, two 15-year-old boys and a 17-year-old boy, according to The Post.

There have been no arrests and police say there is an ongoing investigation.
