A 9-year-old boy who was trampled at rapper Travis Scott’s Astroworld Music Festival has died after being on life support.
The boy, Era Blount, died from his injuries on Sunday.
Blount was sitting on his father’s shoulders when a group of fans began to rush the stage when Travis Scott opened his set at the NRG Park in Houston on Nov. 5.
Blount’s father says after waking up from being knocked out during the stampede, he couldn’t locate his son because fans had trampled him.
Blount suffered severe damage to his organs and his brain was swollen. He had been on life support.
