FLORIDA- A group of surveyors were working in a wooded area on Thursday when they found the body of 9-year-old Diana Alvarez.
Alvarez went missing in 2016. Authorities searched the same areawhere her body found several times in 2016 and 2017 but didn’t find her.
According to WINK-TV, Alvarez’s family member Jorge Guerrero-Torres was arrested a month after her disappearance when they found lewd photos of her on his cellphone. He was charged with possession of child pornography.
Torres was charged with Alverez’s murder in 2018, and after being convicted, he was sentenced to 40 years in prison.
