A Former 90 Day Fiancé star has been convicted of kidnapping and assault.
A jury found found Geoffrey Ian Paschel, 44, guilty of aggravated kidnapping, domestic assault and interference with emergency calls after a two-day trial, according to the Knox County District Attorney’s Office.
Prosecutors allege that deputies responded to a call of a domestic disturbance on June 9, 2019. When they arrived, his ex-fiancée told them that Paschel had assaulted her.
Paschel grabbed the victim by her neck and slammed her head against the wall several times. He threw her to the ground then dragged her, according to D.A.’s office in a statement.
Police said she had visible bruises to her head, arms, back and lip. The victim also told police that Paschel had took her cellphone.
Paschel is facing between 12 and 20 years in prison without the possibility of parole, the D.A.’s office said Friday.
