Rapper Notorious B.I.G.’s famous crown, has been sold.
The crown, sold for $600,000 at the first-ever Hip Hop auction, which was sold by an international house, according to Sotheby’s.
The signed plastic crown, which he wore for his famous 1997 “King Of New York” photograph, was expected to sell for between $200,000-$300,000 at the Sept. 15th auction.
The Brooklyn rapper, also known as Biggie Smalls, was fatally shot Los Angeles, 3 days after the “King Of New York” photo shoot, in a drive-by shooting, due to the East versus West beef between him and Tupac. He was just 24-years-old.
Other items sold at the auction, included 22 love letter’s from Tupac to his one of his ex-girlfriends.
