ARIZONA- A 16-year-old boy has been charged in the death of his 13-year-old brother.
According to KGUN 9, the teen, who’s identity hasn’t been released, was charged with one count of negligent homicide, after police say he shot his younger brother.
Police were called to a residence on Sept. 19, and discovered a 13-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds. Firefighter’s attempted to save the victim, but he was pronounced on the scene.
There were family member’s inside of the home at the time of the fatal shooting.
Police say that the 16-year-old left the scene with a family member, and both were later found in the parking lot of a church, when the suspect was arrested.
