DETROIT- A woman who has been charged with the fatal shooting of a woman, was charged with murder in 2019, but the case was dismissed.
Authorities say that Howard was involved in a double shooting, which left a 30-year-old woman dead early Friday. The victims body was found in her home, with multiple casings, and there was a recovery of two guns.
25-year-old Tarlisa Howard has been charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and one count of conspiracy to commit assault with intent to murder.
A 27-year-old man was shot in his leg, but is expected to live.
In 2019, Howard was also charged with first-degree, but her case was dismissed months later due to insufficient evidence.
