Former WWE wrestler Alberto Del Rio was indicted by a grand jury on kidnapping and sexual assault charges on Friday according to News 4 San Antonio.
Alberto Del Rio, whose real name is Jose Rodriguez Chucuan, was indicted on four counts of sexual assault and one count of kidnapping, after he was arrested back in May for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman.
Del Rio was also accused of threatening the victim, allegedly telling her that he was going to take her son and “drop him in the middle of the road somewhere”.
If found guilty of both charges, Del Rio could face the possibility of life in prison for his kidnapping charges alone.
Alberto Del Rio entered the WWE in 2009, becoming the first Mexican-born wrestler, leaving in 2014, coming back & fourth, until officially leaving in 2016, joining Impact Wrestling.
