LOS ANGELES- Rapper Tory Lanez was ordered on Tuesday to stay away from Megan Thee Stallion.
The Canadian rapper/singer, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, appeared for his scheduled hearing in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday via telephone, and was told by a judge to stay 100 feet away from Megan Thee Stallion, The Daily News reports.
Tory was also told to not contact the Houston rapper either.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Miguel Espinoza told the rapper “You have been served orally and the court is ordering your attorney to provide you with that protective order” according to the newspaper.
Tory’s next hearing is set to take place for Nov. 18.
Tory Lanez was arrested back in July, and was booked for a concealed firearm in a vehicle. TMZ were the first to break the story of Megan Thee Stallion allegedly being shot by Tory. She then accused him of being her shooter in August.
Tory Lanez is now facing multiple felony charges in connection to Megan Thee Stallion’s shooting. If convicted, he may face up to 22 years in prison.
