CHICAGO- Two women have been charged, for allegedly drugging and robbing a dozen men.
According to The Chicago Tribune, prosecutors say that Tiana Trammel, 25, and Tjwana Rainey, 32, targeted drunk men in clubs and bars from Jan. up until they were arrested on Sunday.
Both women, who authorities say are mothers, would invite the men to another location, where they would give them a drink from a small glass vial.
The victims would later wake up in thier own homes, or the side of the road without their wallets and valuables.
Prosecutors say that the women used credit cards belonging to the victims at ATM’s, Walmart and Target. In total, they stole about $85,000 in cash, jewelry and phones.
The women were busted on Friday, as they taking their next victim from a club to Trammel’s car. Authorities had put a tracker on the vehicle prior to their arrest.
Trammel, who is pregnant, and Rainey, who’s a phlebotomist, have been charged with continuing a financial criminal enterprise and possession of a controlled substance.
It’s unclear what drug the women used on the men, but prosecutors are awaiting tests.
