12-year-old boy shot multiple times while sitting in car

CHICAGO- A 12-year-old boy was shot multiple times as he was school shopping with his father.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the juvenile was sitting in a parked car with his father on Wednesday, when an SUV pulled up to their car and began firing from a .45 caliber.

The 12-year-old boy was shot in his back, leg, hip and buttocks. He was taken to a Hospital, where he’s currently in fair condition, the Tribune reports.

The boy will have to now have follow-ups at the Hospital to receive more treatment for his injuries.

The victims father wasn’t hurt during the shooting.

There have been no arrests in this case.
