FLORIDA- Kyle Rittenhouse has been released on a $2 million bond.
The teen is accused of fatally shooting two protestors in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Rittenhouse’s release was confirmed by the Kenosha County Sheriff’s on Friday, according to The New York Post.
17-year-old Rittenhouse traveled to Kenosha, Wisconsin with an AK-47 to a protest, saying he was going to allegedly protect businesses from looters.
Rittenhouse has claimed that he was acting in self-defense when he shot and killed unarmed protestors Joseph Rosenbaum, 36 and Anthony Huber, 26 on August 25.
The victims were protesting the death of Jacob Blake.
Rittenhouse numerous charges include homicide.
