MISSOURI- A man has been arrested and charged after allegedly beating his girlfriend’s 5-year-old son to death.
Police say that Yoshuah Dallas, 24, was taking care of 5-year-old Jamarion Delancy, who had disabilities, and his older sister, while their mother was in labor on Nov. 17, KMOV reported.
On Nov. 18, Dallas brought Jamarion to St. Louis Children’s Hospital in “dire need of medical attention” according to a GoFundMe page started by the St. Louis County Police Association.
The toddler had suffered from blunt force trauma, a lacerated liver and intestine, internal bleeding, broken ribs, bruises to his face and his mouth.
Jamarion was blind, had limited mobility, using braces on his legs.
Dallas was charged on Nov. 19 with abuse or neglect of a child resulting in death and unlawful possession of a firearm.
