Rapper Phresher is very grateful and lucky to be alive, after he was robbed and beaten at gunpoint last week.
The Brooklyn rapper took to his social media on Thanksgiving, posting a photo of his bruised face and swollen eye.
According to Phresher, whose real name is Kashaun Rameek Rutling,
He’s he was robbed while at gunpoint. The thieves robbed him of his car, jewelry and money. He says they also attempted to kidnap him.

Words cant describe how grateful I am today for my family and friends. Last Friday I put my family, friends and team through a Real Scare.
I was robbed at gunpoint … gun butted and almost kidnapped.
They took my car, money, jewelry but they couldn’t take my spirit.
I’M STILL HERE and for that I am grateful to be able to tell you this because things could have been different.
2020 has been a difficult year but we gotta keep pushing.

Phresher broke into the rap game after his hit song ‘Wait A Minute” Featuring Remy Ma. He then when on to work with others rappers such as Eminem.
He’s also known for appearing “Love & Hip-Hop”: New York.
