MANHATTAN- A 10-year-old boy was slashed in the face as he opened his apartment door.
Police say that the boy answered a knock on his door on Saturday around 2:30 at his apartment in the Frederick Douglass Houses to find a woman on the other of the door who was asking for his father, reported the The New York Post.
When the young victim told the woman that his father wasn’t home, she grabbed the boy and slashed his face with a razor.
Police have identified the suspect as a 46-year-old woman who once had a relationship with the victims father.
