ALABAMA- A 5-year-old boy was killed after being thrown out of a car by his mother’s boyfriend.
35-year-old Bryan Starr, an active-duty Army sergeant, was charged with murder in the death of his girlfriend’s son who died on Sunday after he was struck by a car on a highway, the Ledger-Enquirer reported.
Starr told police that the 5-year-old boy was misbehaving, and that he had pulled into a church parking lot, ordering the boy to get out of his and into the rain and darkness.
Starr claims that he looked for the boy, but was unable to find him, until he spotted several other cars that had stopped along the highway. It was then that he learned the boy was struck by an oncoming car.
The boy was taken to a Hospital where he died from his injuries.
Starr will be released on bond.
