Tekashi69’s former associate sentenced to prison for Chief Keef shooting

NYC- Rapper Tekaski 69’s former associate Kooda B has been sentenced to 4 1/2 years in prison for shooting at rapper Chief Keef in Times Square.

Kooda B, whose real name is Kintea McKenzie, was given additional time in prison after he was released in Spring from the Metropolitan Correctional Center, due to an underlying health condition that put him at a higher risk for Covid-19 and was found partying it up on YouTube, reported The New York Daily News.

Judge Paul Engelmayer said the 22-year-old was “doing everything possible to contract coronavrius” according to the paper.

Tekashi 69, who cooperated in 2018 with prosecutors after facing 33 years for drug charges, racketeering and gun charges, offered Kooda $20,000 to shoot at his rival, Chicago rapper Chief Keef.

Kooda shot at Chief Keef as he stood outside of the W Hotel on June 2, 2018. Chief Keef wasn’t injured, as Kooda shot above him, hitting the Hotel instead. He was then paid by Tekashi for the shooting.
