Rapper Casanova 2x surrenders to police after indictment

MANHATTAN- Brooklyn rapper Casanova 2x surrendered himself to police in a Manhattan precinct on Wednesday night after being named in an indictment of the “Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation”.

Casanova 2x, whose real name is Caswell Senior, is faces charges of racketeering conspiracy, firearm possession and conspiracy to distribute controlled substances as part of an indictment unsealed in a Manhattan court on Tuesday.

17 alleged members of the “Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation” were arrested on Tuesday and remain in custody.

The “Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation” have been tied to several shooting and robberies in Brooklyn, Westchester County and one alleged member, Brandon (Stacks) Soto, is accused of driving a man to Poughkeepsie, NY to kill a 15-year-old boy on Sept. 21.

The victim, Jalani Jones, was shot in his head.

Casanova is also still facing charges in a 2018 assault on a woman in Brooklyn. The victim claims that the rapper had her beaten by several people in his crew (men) because he thought she was recording him at a restaurant.
