OHIO- A club that held a party of 500 for singer Trey Songz, has now been ordered to shut down.
Club Aftermath was shut down on Tuesday for violating health orders, according to NBC 4.
During a press conference, Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein said:
“Last weekend’s indoor concert at Aftermath was in blatant disregard of COVID-19 health orders and social distancing best practices,” adding “We are in the middle of a surge in coronavirus infections, yet the owners of Aftermath planned to continue hosting large-scale events at their venue, including this upcoming weekend. In the interest of community health, we secured an immediate shutdown of this property.”
Agents say that they witnessed those attending Trey Songz’s party sharing liquor from the same bottle between groups, not social-distancing and not wearing masks.
