Singer Ann Marie’s 911 call released after friend is shot in the head

ATLANTA- Police have released 911 audio from singer Ann Marie on the day her friend was shot in his head inside of a Hotel room.

In the audio obtained by TMZ, the Atlanta singer can be heard crying, telling the 911 dispatcher that she had grabbed a towel, and her friend ended up getting shot in his forehead by accident.

At one point, you could hear the singer telling her long-time friend Jonathan Wright “I Love You” as she was very emotional.

Police responded to the call on Dec. 1, finding Wright still alert, with a single gunshot wound to his the front of his head and an exit wound to his temple.

He was taken to a Hospital, where he was placed in critical condition.

Ann Marie was so hysterical, police had to remove her from the Hotel room. She told police that a gun had fell off of a table, and went off, shooting her friend.

The singer was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm.

After investigating, Ann Marie was arrested and booked for possession of a firearm and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Wright was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
