Music producer Rick Rubin is going to trial for violating Hawaii’s coronavirus orders.
According to The Garden Island, a trial date has been set for Feb. 9, 2021 against the music mogul for violating quarantine order for island visitors in September.
According to the paper, Rubin was caught walking on an empty stretch of beach close to where he was staying at, after a local recorded him during a time when Hawaii had a mandatory 2 week quarantine period for visitors.
Rubin was also seen by a photographer walking with no shirt along the beach.
Oddly, the paper says that it’s unsure if Rubin will even have to appear for the trial.
