FLORIDA- A missing man was killed by another man he met on a dating app, according to police.
Michael Harris, 20, was arrested and charged on Saturday for the death of 63-year-old Bobby Scott, who had been reported missing by his husband after not going home last week.
Scott met Harris through a dating app, and had agreed to meet with him in person last week. Scott then vanished, with no evidence of financial activity, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.
Scott’s vehicle was found in Harris’ possession in Deland, Florida, and Harris told authorities that he had lent it to him. He also told them that he hadn’t seen Scott since then.
Scott’s body was found in Deland on Sunday.
Harris has been charged with second-degree murder with a deadly weapon.
