Rapper Casanova 2X denied bail; here’s why

NYC- A judge has denied rapper Casanova 2x bail for Thursday.

The judge ruled that the Brooklyn rapper is a danger to the community if he’s released from jail.

According to The New York Daily News, Manhattan federal Magistrate Judge Paul Davison says Casanova’s criminal record, and evidence against in his new case makes it too risky to grant him $2.5 million bail, while he’s awaiting trail.

Assistant U.S. Attorney David Felton told the judge Davison “Casanova is a full fledged, committed leader of the gang,” adding, citing “rampant evidence of guns, drugs and violence centrally involving this defendant.”

Casanova’s defense attorney James Kousouros told the court that the case is made up of comments from accused gangsters against his client.

The rapper, whose real name is Caswell Senior, is facing 15 years in prison for gun charges and allegedly dealing drugs with the gang Gorilla Stone Bloods, which prosecutors say he is apart of.
