KENTUCKY (WKYT)- A rapper was fatally shot as he was filming a music video on Sunday.
Police say that the shooting happened around 5:15 p.m. on Sunday, outside of the Marriot Hotel at City Center, when rapper ATM Grinder was shot as he filming a music video.
ATM Grinder, whose real name is Lonnie Oxendine, was allegedly killed by a promoter he knew, after they both had a disagreement about money, according to his family.
Police arrested 25-year-old Jacouri Burns on Monday, and he was charged with murder and second-degree assault in Oxendine’s death.
Oxendine leaves a 2-year-old boy behind.
