Tiger Woods undergoes surgery after car crash

LOS ANGELES- Tiger Woods underwent surgery for serious injuries he sustained after his SUV rolled over.

Woods underwent surgery on Tuesday for his both of his legs.

Deputy Carlos Gonzalez, who was the first to arrive on the scene on Feb. 24, says he found Woods wearing a seatbelt in the driver’s seat of his Genesis GV80.

The 45-year-old golf legend was driving alone around 7:12 a.m. on a accident-prone stretch of road when he lost control of his SUV, crashing into a raised median, The New York Post reports.

The SUV crossed two oncoming lanes and rolled over several times before dropping into a grassy area, according to authorities.

Police say that Woods’ SUV had enough cushion inside of it for him to have survived his crash.
