NYC- Police arrested a woman for punching a 2-year-old boy in his face as he rode the train with his mother.
Elizabeth Galarza, 56, was arrested in Harlem Friday for the Feb. 20 attack on the boy, reports The New York Daily News.
Galarza was on the C train when the boy’s mother asked her if she could practice social distancing due to her young children.
Instead of moving away from the mother, Galarza stepped on her foot and repeatedly punched her toddler in the face before fleeing.
The boy suffered injuries to his face.
Galarza was charged with assault and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
