QUEENS, NY- The body of a woman who was found in the trunk of a car on Wednesday is believed to be that of a missing mother.
Police believe that the body discovered by a tow truck worker, is that of Destini Smothers, 26.
Smothers disappeared on November 3, after leaving a bowling alley in Queens with her boyfriend and the father to her 3 children.
According to the missing report, the boyfriend told police that they had got into a heated argument inside of Smothers 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid before she got and walked away.
The boyfriend told police that she had left her purse, wallet and I.D. and keys. He also told them that he last saw Smothers a mile away from a McDonald’s.
Her body was found around 10 a.m., as the tow truck driver was attempting to tow the vehicle away.
Police haven’t confirmed if the vehicle found on Wednesday is that of Smothers, and there are also no suspects as of now.
