UPDATE: There was no shooting at Smurkchella Celebrity Theatre on Saturday night*
Several people were injured during a concert that rapper Lil Durk was performing at on Saturday night.
Officers responded to a report of shots fired at the Celebrity Theatre around 10 p.m. More than 7,00o were attending the Smurkchella concert featuring Lil Durk, reports azfamily.
Police say when they arrived at the venue, people were fleeing the area.
There were several concert goer’s who suffered injuries from fleeing after hearing gunshots, but none suffered life-threatening injuries.
There is an active investigation, and there are currently no suspects in custody.
Lil Durk tweeted “0K people sold out and no stop tryna stop us”, before the gunfire erupted in the crowd.
