CALIFORNIA- Police have arrested and charged a man and woman in the death of rapper Lil Yase.
Police charged Angel Butler, and Jovante Williams, both 28, with first-degree murder.
The 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Mark Alexander Jr., was shot in Nov. of 2020.
He was taken to a hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
According to KTVU, police say that Williams and Butler share a child with each other, and that Butler did know Lil Yase.
The motive for the killing is still unknown.
