VIRGINIA- A mother has been charged with murder for the fatal stabbing of her 10-month-old son, and injuring her 8-year-old daughter.
Police received a call Monday from a man claiming his fiancée had called him, threatening him.
When police arrived at the couple’s residence, they discovered a horrific scene.
An infant and an 8-year-old girl were found with multiple stab wounds. The infant was pronounced dead on the scene, and his sister was taken to a hospital where she has been placed in stable condition.
Sarah Whitney Ganoe, 35, was arrested at the scene and charged with one count of second-degree murder, one count of malicious wounding and two counts of felony child neglect.
Ganoe remains in jail.
There is no motive.
