Songwriter J. Wright has been arrested and charged in the death of his girlfriend.
Police responded to a call about a disturbance on Mother’s Day. When they arrived at the residence, 20-year-old Wilanna Bibbs was found with a gunshot wound.
Bibbs was pronounced dead at the scene, reports OurQuadCities.com.
Bibbs and Wright had been dating.
Justin J. Wright was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. People confirms that the songwriter is being held on $500,000 bond.
