– A 15-year-old up & coming rapper was shot and killed this past weekend.
say that Dajon Gater was killed last Friday, as he sat on his front porch when two men approached him and began firing. He was shot in his head, and transported to a where he was later pronounced dead, reports .suntimes.
Gater’s death may have been retaliation for an “earlier altercation”, but didn’t release much information.
There have no arrests made.
Gater was described an aspiring rapper, who participated in an afterschool program called “Guitars over Guns”.
This past weekend has been the deadliest weekend of the year with 54 shot over the weekend.
