CALIFORNIA- $2.5 million worth of methamphetamine was seized by US Customs and Border Protection officers last week in California.
The meth, weighing over 1,100 pounds was found hidden in a watermelon shipment.
The bust came about last Tuesday, when the CBP stopped a 47-year-old man driving a truck at the Otay Port of Entry.
K-9 alerted officer’s, who found the meth wrapped in plastic, inside of 193 containers.
