ROCKLAND COUNTY- A 1-year-old boy was found dead on Saturday at his home, after his mother left him in the care of his young brother.
Police said Marie Dorleus, 36, was charged with felony manslaughter in a news press release Monday.
According to authorities, police were called to a residence, and found the toddler stuck in between a bed and a wall.
First responders found the boy unresponsive. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Dorleus had left her toddler in the care of his 6-year-old brother, with no adult supervision.
