KENTUCKY- A 7-week-old baby is dead and her father is now accused of killing her, police say.
Del’Shawn Banks, 23, took his daughter to a pediatrician’s office, who then contacted police after the girl was unresponsive, reports Yahoo.
The baby was taken to a Children’s hospital, where doctors found she had a skull fracture and other injuries that were “conducive to abusive head trauma”. She died later on that day.
Banks admitted to police officer’s that he had shaken his daughter before throwing her to the ground.
An autopsy revealed her injuries were consistent with his story.
Banks was charged with murder-domestic violence.
