SOUTH CAROLINA- Two teenage parents have been arrested and charged after their infant died from a drug overdose, according to authorities.
Brady Wearn, 18, and Mary Bedenbaugh, 17, were charged with homicide by child abuse and unlawful conduct toward a child, after the May 2 death of their 4-month-old baby, reports WSPA.
The infant was found unresponsive, and taken to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Toxicology reports showed that the infant had cocaine in their system, and investigators determined that the infant died from ingesting cocaine.
Bedenbaugh and Warren had cocaine, fentanyl and Marijuana in their system, according to a toxicology report.
