MOTT HAVEN, THE BRONX- A decomposed body was discovered under a pile of trash Thursday morning.
Police were called to E 144st after receiving a call about the discovery of a dead body.
Workers who were clearing the area for construction discovered the decomposing body of a female with a plastic bag over her head under a pile of trash.
The woman’s identity hasn’t been revealed, or her cause of death.
