FLORIDA- Rappers 9lokkNine and Hotboii have been identified by federal authorities as two out of 34 suspects that are now facing federal charges in an ongoing RICO investigation.
The Orange County’s Sheriff’s Office “Operation X-Force” targeted local crime organizations, the “438 Gang” and the “Army Gang” police said in a press conference on Friday.
9lokkNine, whose real name is Jacquavius Smith, an alleged member of the Army Gang and Hotboii, whose real name is Javarri Latre Walker, both face charges of racketeering and conspiracy to commit racketeering.
9lokkNine has been arrested, and Hotboii is not custody.
A number of other local rappers were also arrested as part of “Operation X-Force”.
Rappers Luh Wavy, RugRat, and Drako Psyc were also arrested. Police say that they may be facing up to 30 years in prison, along with others.
