Man charged for allegedly killing couple and 6-year-old daughter

TEXAS- A man has been charged for allegedly killing a couple, their 6-year-old daughter execution style and injuring their 10-year-old daughter.

Police arrested Xavier Davis, 28, on an unrelated charge before he was charged with three counts of capital murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Houston Police Dept.

Davis allegedly went to the family’s house on Wednesday and knocked on their door with a mask on. The couple’s surviving 10-year-old daughter says her father let Davis in, who then lined her family up on their couch, fatally shooting her father, Gregory Carhee, 35, her mother Donyavia Lagway, 29, and her 6-year-old sister Harmony Carhee.

The 10-year-old was shot in her arm and pretended she was dead. Once Davis left her home, she face-timed her grandmother who called police.

The girl told police that Davis allegedly grabbed her 1-year-old brother by the hair and threw him on the floor. He survived his injuries, and an 8-year-old boy was at the home at the time of the shooting.

Police don’t have a motive for the killing.
