NFL player Richard Sherman arrested on domestic violence charges

SEATTLE- NFL star Richard Sherman was arrested early Wednesday.

Sherman, 33, was booked into the King County Correctional Facility at 6:08 a.m..

Sherman’s wife called 911, and dealt with an unprofessional dispatcher, who interrupted Mrs. Sherman several times as she pleaded for help and was VERY condescending on the 911 call.

When Mrs. Sherman told the dispatcher that her husband was intoxicated, and asked the dispatcer to please hurry in sending help, the dispatcher replied “I am handling this. You need to stop telling me that”.

She also told the dispatcher that Sherman was allegedly trying to fight her uncle and that he was also threatening to kill himself.

Sherman was located outside of the home by police.

He allegedly fought with police officer’s and wasn’t cooperating. A K-9 dog was even brought to the scene.

The free agent was arrested and taken to a hospital for minor injuries. He was then transported to jail. Sherman was denied bail.

Sherman helped the Seattle Seahawks win the Super Bowl in 2013, and spent three seasons with the San Francisco 49er’s before becoming a free agent.
