TEXAS- 8 teenage had to rescued by firefighters from a roller coaster after it malfunctioned and got stuck for two hours Saturday night.
The West Valley Fire Department responded to a call for help at the Sunland Park around 8:40 p.m. and found that two cars from the ride had been stuck, holding the teens 60 feet from the ground.
Firefighters used a ladder to bring the teens down, and it took about 2 hours for the rescue.
None of the teens suffered any injuries, and the park started the ride up again on Sunday, but without the two cars that were stuck, police say.
