‘America’s Got Talent’ star Nightbride quits show after battle with cancer

‘America’s Got Talent’ star Nightbride has quit the show due to her battle with cancer.

The singer, whose real name is Jane Marczewski, announced the news on her Instagram Monday.

Marczewski posted a black & white photo, with a caption that read:

“Sharing my heart with the world on AGT has been an honor and a dream come true. My point of view this summer has been astounding. What a miracle that the pain I’ve walked through can be reworked into beauty that makes people all over the world open their eyes wider.”

The 30-year-old singer then thanked her fans for their support…

“Thank you for all your support, it means the world to me. Stay with me, I’ll be better soon. I’m planning my future, not my legacy. Pretty beat up, but I’ve still got dreams.”

She revealed that her song “It’s OK” was about her battle with Cancer.

Marczewski was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017. The cancer then spread to her lungs, spine and liver. In 2019, she was given just 3 months to live by a doctor.

Judge Howie Mandel tweeted “Our hearts and prayers go out to her and her family”.
