WASHINGTON- A woman has been charged with murder after her adult twins, who both had autism, died from starvation.
According to Kitsap Sun, Sherrie Lynn Hill checked herself into a Hospital last Tuesday and told the staff that she was feeling suicidal. She also told them that her 18-year-old twins were dead.
When police went to Hill’s home, they found the bodies of the twins, Connor and Chelsea Hill.
Hill allegedly told police that when she went into the twins room Thursday, she found them “cold and blue”, according to a police report. She said she covered them in blankets and didn’t call police.
Hill also allegedly told Hospital staff members that she didn’t remember the last time she had fed the twins, losing track of days.
Police say that Hill told them she had attempted to kill herself 6 times in one month.
Hill allegedly told a social worker that she didn’t kill her twins on purpose. ‘This is how crazy I am” adding “I need to own up to my responsibilities, I can’t believe I let this happen”, reports People.
Hill was charged with two counts of murder.
