PITTSBURGH- Former Pirates pitcher Felipe Vazquez was sentenced to prison for sexual conduct with a minor.
Vasquez was sentenced on Tuesday to 2-4 years in prison.
He was found guilty in May of 15 counts, that included statutory sexual assault, reported the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
The 30-year-old has been in jail since 2019, when he was arrested.
Vasquez is accused of having contact with the teen victim from 2017 to 2019.
He’s facing other charges in Florida and Missouri that are related to the same teen girl.
