Rapper Jackboy had dodged felony charges and jail time.
Monroe County D.A. Johnathan L. Adams tells TMZ that his office decided not to go forward with the charges against [Jackboy] “due to our concern regarding being able to prove Jackboy had actual knowledge of the location of the firearms.
When police searched the vehicle, they found 2 unregistered guns in the glove box. Jackboy told police that he didn’t know the guns were in the vehicle.
A passenger had intially told police that the two guns found inside of the vehicle the rapper was in belonged to him and not Jackboy.
Jackboy was charged with possesion of a firearm by a convicted felon, but those charges have now been dropped due to lack of evidence.
