LOS ANGELES- Rapper Drakeo The Ruler was arrested on Sunday in Los Angeles.
The rapper broadcasted his arrest on his Instagram Live. Police can be seen arresting Drakeo as his Uber driver was pulled over.
L.A.P.D. arrest records show the rapper was charged with “excon with a gun”. They also say that the Uber Drakeo was in, was pulled over due to tinted windows.
He’s currently out on bail.
The rapper has collaborated with artists like Drake, and others.
Drakeo the Ruler was released from prison in November of 2020. He was serving time for charges of shooting from a motor vehicle and criminal gang activity.
His was placed on probation for five years under the conditions that he refrain from associating with known gang members, obey the law, submit to search and seizure and not possess weapons or firearms.
