NORTH CAROLINA- A caretaker was arrested on Monday after police she allegedly left her 21-year-old patient with cerebral palsy in a hot car.
Police responded to a call about a death investigation at a Hospital on Aug. 10.
It was determined by police that the 21-year-old victim had a temperature of over 110 degrees when she was brought to the Hospital before she was pronounced dead.
Police say Briea Askew, 29, allegedly left the unidentified victim inside of a parked car for five hours without any air conditioning.
Askew has been charged with second-murder.
