MICHIGAN- A woman has been charged after allegedly fatally stabbing her 3-year-old daughter, police say.
22-year-old Justine Johnson was charged on Friday.
Johnson’s brother called 911 on Friday around 4 a.m. after he found his niece’s dead body in a garbage bag, reports WJRT.
When police arrived at the scene, they discovered the toddler’s body, but Johnson was not home. She was later found walking along train tracks, according to WJRT.
Johnson was charged with homicide-felony murder and first-degree child abuse, but pleaded not guilty on Monday, according to the Oscoda Press.
She’s being held on a bond.
There is no known motive for the killing.
